These terms govern your use of the Maali app. By creating an account and using Maali, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Maali is a personal finance app that connects to your bank through a regulated open-banking provider to help you understand your spending, budgets, and insights. Maali provides information only and has read-only access — it cannot move or transfer your money.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in secure, and for the activity on your account.
To connect a bank, you authorise access through Tarabut, a UAE-regulated open-banking provider. Your bank and Tarabut have their own terms that also apply to that connection. You can withdraw this consent at any time from within the app.
Maali’s insights, categories, and budgets are for information only and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for decisions you make about your money.
Use Maali only for its intended purpose and in line with applicable law. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
We work to keep Maali available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is”. Data shown depends on your bank and our open-banking provider, and may not always be complete or up to date.
To the extent permitted by law, Maali is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your reliance on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Maali and delete your account and data at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or where required by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
